Continuous Improvement:

Plan-Do-Check-Act Cycle:  An ongoing effort to enhance products, services, or processes. These efforts can seek incremental improvement over time or breakthrough improvement all at once. At TNG, this is embodied in the PDCA cycle.


Qatar National School Accreditation:

Qatar National School Accreditation (QNSA): A comprehensive national school evaluation system designed to ensure schools in Qatar meet high standards of quality and performance.


Stakeholder:

Stakeholder: Any individual or group with an interest in the school's success or performance. This includes learners, parents, staff, the Board of Governors, the Ministry of Education, and the wider community.


Data Collection:

Gathering survey responses and feedback through TNG-approved methods, without altering the original data.


Data Cleaning and Validation:

The process of reviewing raw survey data to ensure accuracy and reliability before analysis.


Business Intelligence (BI):

Use of analytics tools (e.g., Microsoft BI) to interpret survey data, identify patterns, and support decision-making


Triangulation:

Cross‑checking survey findings with internal data such as assessments, attendance, behaviour, and safeguarding data to validate insights.


Action Planning:

A structured process that uses survey findings to develop improvement actions with responsible persons, timelines, and KPIs.


Feedback Loop:

The practice of informing stakeholders about actions taken in response to their feedback (“You Said – We Did”)


Sentiment Analysis:

Categorization of feedback into positive, neutral, or negative trends for monitoring risks and improvement areas.


Safeguarding Concerns:

Feedback or information that indicates a potential risk to student safety and well-being requiring immediate escalation.


Survey Frequency:

The planned timeline for conducting each type of survey—termly, annually, or as required.


Quality Assurance (QA) Team:

The team responsible for survey management, data analysis, and reporting


ISO 21001:2018:

An international educational organisation management standard guiding performance evaluation, improvement processes, and stakeholder needs.


Ofsted Framework:

UK reference standards focus on quality of education, behaviour, personal development, and leadership.


School Development Plan (SDP):

A strategic plan that incorporates improvement actions derived from survey findings.


Accountability:

Responsibility placed on leadership, QA teams, and key individuals to plan, implement, monitor, and report improvement actions
